Aviso de Reuniones Públicas y Oportunidades de Comentarios Públicos relacionados con el Consejo Regional del Gran Nashville (GNRC) y sus juntas y comités

Reuniones Públicas

Por la presente se notifica que los siguientes se reunirán durante las sesiones ordinarias con el fin de considerar y realizar transacciones comerciales en nombre de la GNRC y sus miembros.

• Comité Coordinador de Transporte: el comité se reunirá en las oficinas de GNRC, 44 Vantage Way, Suite 450, Nashville, TN 37228 el 2 de agosto a las 10:30 a. m. para desarrollar recomendaciones para la Junta de Políticas de Transporte.
• Consejo Regional: el cuerpo del consejo se reunirá en Tennessee State Library and Archives, 1001 Rep. John Lewis Way N, Nashville, TN 37219 el 16 de agosto a las 10:15 a. m. para realizar negocios en nombre de los miembros del gobierno local.
• Junta de Políticas de Transporte: la junta se reunirá en Tennessee State Library and Archives, 1001 Rep. John Lewis Way N, Nashville, TN 37219 el 16 de agosto inmediatamente después de la reunión del Consejo Regional para realizar negocios relacionados con los planes de transporte regional de la Organización de Planificación Metropolitana del Área de Nashville.

Oportunidad para comentario público

La GNRC brinda la oportunidad de recibir comentarios públicos como parte de la agenda regular de las reuniones en persona de los organismos públicos. Aquellos que deseen proporcionar comentarios deben estar presentes y el presidente de las juntas o comités correspondientes les pedirá que se acerquen al podio, como se indica en las agendas de las reuniones. Los comentarios también pueden enviarse en cualquier momento por escrito a comments@gnrc.org. Los comentarios enviados por correo electrónico serán revisados por el personal, pero no se leerán ni distribuirán en la reunión pública.

Sobre la GNRC

La GNRC fue establecida por la Asamblea General de TN como una asociación de gobiernos locales facultados para convocar a líderes locales y estatales con el fin de planificar y programar inversiones estatales y federales en una variedad de servicios sociales e infraestructura pública. Notice of Public Meetings and Public Comment Opportunities related to the
Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) and its Boards and Committees

Public Meetings

Notice is hereby given that the following will meet during regular sessions for the purposes of considering and transacting business on behalf of GNRC and its membership.  

• Transportation Coordinating Committee – The committee will meet at GNRC offices, 44 Vantage Way, Suite 450, Nashville, TN 37228 on August 2 at 10:30 a.m. to develop recommendations for the Transportation Policy Board. 
• Regional Council – The council body will meet at the Tennessee State Library and Archives, 1001 Rep. John Lewis Way N, Nashville, TN 37219 on August 16 at 10:15 a.m. to conduct business on behalf of its local government members.
• Transportation Policy Board – The board will meet at the Tennessee State Library and Archives, 1001 Rep. John Lewis Way N, Nashville, TN 37219 on August 16 immediately following the Regional Council meeting to conduct business related to regional transportation plans of the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization.
• Mid-Cumberland Area Development Corporation (MADC) – The MADC Board of Directors will meet at GNRC offices, 44 Vantage Way, Suite 450, Nashville, TN 37228 on August 17 at 10:30 a.m. MADC is designated by the SBA as a certified development company. Any portion of MADC business that relates to its work on behalf of GNRC’s revolving loan fund will be open to the public and will have an opportunity for public comment.
• Aging and Disability Advisory Committee – The committee will meet at GNRC offices, 44 Vantage Way, Suite 450, Nashville, TN 37228 on August 21 at 10:00 a.m. to develop recommendations for the Regional Council.

Opportunities for Public Comment

GNRC provides an opportunity for public comment as part of the regular agenda for in-person meetings of public bodies. Those wishing to provide comments must be in attendance and will be asked to approach the podium by the chair of applicable boards or committees as listed on meeting agendas. Comments may also be submitted at any time in writing to comments@gnrc.org. Emailed comments will be reviewed by staff but will not be read or distributed at the public meeting.

GNRC was established by the TN General Assembly as an association of local governments empowered to convene local and state leaders for the purposes of planning and programming state and federal investments into a range of social services and public infrastructure. GNRC serves as the region’s federally recognized Area Agency on Aging and Disability (AAAD) and Economic Development District (EDD) and administers the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) on behalf of the Nashville Area MPO Transportation Policy Board.
